Album in the Works: Fourth Album (SWV)

It's been no secret that SWV have been making their way back to recording their fourth studio album since they reunited back in 2005 to begin retouring their classic material. With that said, SWV have opened up to Billboard about their new direction and where they are coming from with this new album.

Cheryl “Coko” Gamble says their fourth non-seasonal studio album (excluding their 99′ holiday album, “A Special Christmas”) will have the “same SWV flavor” with a contemporary twist. “Same style just new millennium. Kick it up a notch, take it to the next level, but we’re still going to be ourselves.

In terms of what we already know, the famed trio have already worked with super producer  Bryan Michael-Cox as well as Cainon Lamb who is best known for producing Jazmine Sullivan's "Need U Bad" along with Missy Elliot. With that said, it seems as if the new SWV album is looking very promising and with a reality show in the works, fans can hope that this album will place the ladies back where they deserve to be.
