I had the honor of catching Alicia Keys perform last night as a part of her intimate series of concerts entitled "Piano and I," and Mrs. Keys reminded the audience why she is so special. Despite the criticism that has befallen her over the past year or so, at the heart of Alicia is a true musician who is one of our generation's most talented artists. With that said, one of my favorite tracks from Keys has always been her "Diary (Unplugged)
" version which showcases her phenomenal artistry as well as her background singer Jermaine Paul's incredible vocals. Take a listen below to the recorded audio from that night's MTV Unplugged.
