Cut: "Maybe I Deserve" (Tank)

Back in the winter of 2000, Tank released the lead single from his debut effort Force of Nature in the form of "Maybe I Deserve." While the album would go onto debuted at #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and #7 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, the lead single would prove to be a solid hit from tank peaking at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #7 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.

Written and produced by Durrell "Tank" Babbs, "Maybe I Deserve" is one of those throwback cut joints that gets broken out every now and then in times of need and I gotta dedicate this to my sistah J who reminded me of this gem in Tank's discography. With that said, take a listen after the jump to "Maybe I Deserve" and Enjoy!

Cut: "One Man" (Tank)

Following the success of his 2001 debut album Force of Nature, Tank released his sophomore album and followup One Man in 2002. Led by the set's title-track "One Man," the single would prove to be a moderate hit for Tank on the R&B charts.

Peaking at #25 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, "One Man" peaked outside of the Billboard Hot 100 at #107, but it is still a solid jam from the famed R&B crooner.

With that said, take a listen below to Tank's cut "One Man" and Enjoy!

After scoring a Grammy nomination with TGT, Tank is back to his solo grind and has released a new joint "You're My Star," which is lifted as the first single from his forthcoming sixth studio album Stronger.

Sampling The Jacksons' "This Place Hotel," it's a solid return for Tank as a solo artist and I look forward to hearing what he has in store with Stronger as I assume it will be released close to his headlining performance at the 2014 ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans this Fourth of July weekend.

Interview: TGT

TGT stopped by Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club earlier today to promote their new debut album Three Kings and during their interview, Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese opened up about why this seemingly random supergroup came about, who has the better set during their tour, what the issue was with Fantasia, who's the "diva" in the crew, who their audience is, Ginuwine's thoughts on Chris Brown and Drake "working with"/ using Aaliyah even though they never knew her, the possibility of a sophomore album, Tyrese retiring after his next studio album, and much more.

Peep The Breakfast Club's nearly thirty minute interview with TGT after the jump and if you haven't taken a listen to Three Kings take a listen and see what they're working with.

With TGT's debut album Three Kings in stores today, I thought I would bring it back to my favorite Tank joint to help celebrate the supergroup "finally" releasing their much-talked-about debut album.

Back in 2007, Tank released the first single from his then long-awaited third album Sex, Love & Pain" entitled "Please Don't Go." The song became an instant hit peaking at #1 on Billboard's Adult R&B charts and #2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
