Back in 1981, Evelyn "Champaign" King released "I'm in Love" and it went straight to the top of the charts on both the Billboard Hot Soul Singles Chart and Hot Dance Club Songs Chart. Even though it was a big hit on R&B and Dance radio, it peaked at a respectable forty on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming Evelyn's third top forty hit following "Shame" and "I Don't Know If It's Right."
With that said, "I'm in Love" still goes in my book and is one of those thumping jams that just gets you in the mood to at least two-step every time you hear it. Therefore, take a second listen below to "I'm in Love" and I dare you not to get into the groove!
