The legendary funk group Sly and the Family Stone have celebrated their monumental career and Sly's 70th birthday with am anthology entitled Higher!
Featuring several of the groups' remastered singles, are recordings and vaulted recordings, one of those vaulted recordings has hit the net and it is in the form of Sly and the Family Stone's take on the Jim and Jean hit "What's That Got to Do With Me."
With that said, you can take a listen after the jump to their sublime cover of "What's That Got to Do With Me" and lookout for Higher!, which features 77 tracks in addition to a 100 page booklet when it's released August 27th.
