Janelle Monáe kicked off the telecast of BET's Black Girls Rock last night with a riveting performance of her Solange assisted joint "Electric Lady," which also serves as the title-track to her album The Electric Lady.
Kicking it off with a step routine, that took some of us back to those college days, Janelle for a lack of a better words electrified the stage that night in Newark at NJPAC and just a fun fact, the night of the tapping for Black Girls Rock, Janelle was also the musical guest on SNL.
