Back in 1973 Billy Preston released his #1 hit single "Will It Go Round in Circles," from his seventh studio album Music Is My Life (1972). Though it peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and would go onto become one of Preston's signature songs, it peaked at a surprisingly #10 on the R&B charts.
