** As BBQ weekend season commences, I already know that I will be hearing this classic 80s jam a few times at the BBQs I will be attending and thought I would repost it for all of you to jam to as well**
Back in 1987 The Whispers released their instant classic "Rock Steady," which was lifted from their eight studio album Just Gets Better with Time. Produced by Babyface and LA Reid, the song would go onto peak at #1 on the Hot Black Singles chart and #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Still one of those jams that will get everyone up at a party, "Rock Steady" is one of the greatest jams from the 1980s in my opinion and you can take a second listen to it after the jump!
