Last year in honor MJ’s birthday, J.Period paid tribute to the late icon with the exclusive single release of "Wanna Be Where You Are (J.Period String Remix)", featuring previously unreleased (and never-before-heard) vocal takes from a young Michael -- clearly in his prime -- plus new orchestral arrangements by J.Period. The track is the latest release in J.Period’s "Man or The Music" Collection, a series of MJ Tributes released as part of Spike Lee’s annual “BK Loves MJ” event series in Brooklyn.
