Back in 2007, Tank released the first single from his then long-awaited third album "Sex, Love & Pain," entitled "Please Don't Go." The song became an instant hit peaking at #1 on Billboard's Adult R&B charts and #2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. Later that year, the single would go on to give Tank his first Grammy Award nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, and although he went on to lose the 2008 Grammy to Prince's "Future Baby Mama," the single proves to be a signature song of Tank to this day.
