Last night on American Idol, Candice Glover had "a star is born" moment on the hit reality singing competition with a riveting cover of The Cure's classic "Lovesong." While Adele most recently covered "Lovesong" with a bossa nova rendition on her classic LP 21, Candice hands down in my book offers the more risky and phenomenal rendition which even prompted Mariah Carey to get up from the judge's table and throw glitter on Candice to proclaim her approval.
