Second Listen: "Angel" (Aretha Franklin)

My favorite song from the Queen of Soul's recorded discography has to be the somber ballad her sister Carolyn penned for her entitled "Angel." Released in 1973 from "Hey Now Hey (The Other Side of the Sky)," "Angel" was produced by both Aretha Franklin and Quincy Jones and while it proved to be a hit topping the R&B charts for two weeks and going Gold,  it seems as if it's a lesser known hit to some fans and doesn't garner the same attention as some of her more classic material. With that said, take a first or second listen below to "Angel" and Enjoy!
