Saw Ms. Aretha Franklin earlier tonight "Motown the Musical" on Broadway as she was there celebrating her 71st birthday. With that said, I wanted to honor this day with the Queen of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin's rendition of "Precious Lord, Take My Hand." I wanted to take it back a bit to when Ms. Franklin blessed the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Dedication Ceremony with a spirited rendition of the gospel hymn "Precious Lord, Take My Hand."
