I watched Whitney Houston's "Sparkle" remale last night and still felt a sense of mourning and loss while seeing Whitney on screen and was reminded of one of my favorites from her discography "Why Does It Hurt So Bad." With that said, I thought it would be appropriate to revisit her performance of "Why Does It Hurt So Bad" at the 1996 MTV Movie Awards, where she performed an effortlessly highly emotive rendition of her power ballad.
