Back in 1974 Earth, Wind, & Fire released their fifth studio album "Open Our Eyes" and one of the singles lifted from the effort was their solid smooth joint "Devotion." Eventually peaking at #23 on the U.S. Billboard Black Singles chart and #33 on the Pop Singles charts, "Devotion" is one of their sleeper hits and fans of EWF will enjoy this classic. Oh yes...one of my favorites from EWF -even more than some of their biggest hit singles. Such a gem and I love the live version even more. The harmonies are outstanding for band not really appreciated for that. It's sad we don't get these positive type songs too much anymore.
