The music world has been struck with another tragic loss as Etta James has died of complications from leukemia at the age of 73. Though the singer had been battling the disease for a while now, the loss is a huge one for the music world as James is noted for her heart-wrenching vocals. Though she is noted for her interpretation of "At Last," one of my favorite songs from her discography is "I'd Rather Go Blind" and to honor the late singer, you can listen to her recording below.
So sad!!! She had one of the most powerful voices of any time. Her was awesome going from Jazz to DooWop to Soul to Country to Rock and whatever else she felt like tackling. She made many wonderful records. My heart goes out to her family. You will miss Peaches!!!
