Tapped to premier after this year's Superbowl, McPhee's sublime cover of the Christina Aguilera classic "Beautiful" has been everywhere lately and she really does the song justice while adding her own vocal twist. Omg, I know. I just found this, and the pilot, which I snagged for free on iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/tv-season/smash-season-1/id492511667), and she owns this song. I didn't think many people could cover Aguilera so well, but DAMN, McPhee did it. This makes me 15x more excited for the music aspect of "Smash." PREMIERE ALREADY.
