Second Listen: "Born Again" (V ft. Jill Scott)

Back in 2006, Jill Scott's background singer V dropped a smooth debut album entitled Revelation Is Now Televised, that featured the duet "Born Again" with the talented Ms. Scott.

Though Jill spits some poetry towards the end of the song, "Born Again" is a great showcase for V's talented vocals and songwriting ability. Take a second listen to the "Born Again" after the jump and Enjoy!

Second Listen: "Who Would I Be" (V)

Back in 2006 then Jill Scott background singer V released his debut album The Revelation Is Now Televised. The album as a whole was slept on hard by both critics and listeners and one of my favorite cuts from the album "Who Would I Be" went completely unnoticed.

With that said, take a second listen to this smooth joint "Who Would I Be" from the talented V below and Enjoy!

New Joint: "Poison" (V)

Artist-on-the-rise V aka V Bozeman is back with a new joint and this time it is in the form of her own take on the Bell Biv DeVoe classic "Poison." While I wouldn't call it a cover, V's take on the iconic "Poison" takes it to another level and warrants a listen or two from an artist we have already been talking about with her duet with Timothy Bloom ("'till The End of Time") and who I am sure we will continue to talk about as she continues to embark on her solo career. Either way you feel, take a listen below to V's "Poison" and if you like what you hear, click the download button!
