While Emeli Sandé is currently hard at work on her forthcoming sophomore album which will follow her breakthrough debut Our Version of Events, I thought it would be nice to revisit one of my favorite joints from the set "Suitcase."

For some reason "Suitcase" came into my mind earlier today while I was watching some TV and I immediately revisited this sublime joint from Emeli. While it never received the single's treatment, it really is one of my top five favorite joints from Our Version of Events and hopefully will receive more attention as her career continues.

With that said, take a first or second listen below to "Suitcase" and Enjoy!

While Emeli Sandé is busy recording and working on her sophomore album, which is rumored to be set for release next year, I am still revisiting her sublime debut album Our Version of Events, which was primarily produced by Naughty Boy.

Co-written by Emeli Sandé, Shahid Khan and Ben Harrison, "Breaking The Law" was written by Emeli for her sister and while it was used in a different context for the show last night, this cut really should've become a single in my book.

Over two years ago, Emeli Sandé released a live audio EP iTunes Session that featured acoustic takes of seven of her own gems and a cover of the Nina Simone classic "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free."

With that said, Emeli decided to perform her fourth single "My Kind of Love," from her debut album Our Version Of Events. As we await the release of her highly anticipated second album, I thought it would be appropriate to check out her acoustic performance of "My Kind of Love" after the jump!

Was jamming to Emeli Sandé's debut album Our Version of Events last night and rediscovered her Naughty Boy produced gem "Easier in Bed."

Written by Emeli and Naught Boy, "Easier in Bed" finds Emeli vibing out to a different sonic to her discography but is such a standout in my book with a simplistic yet truthful message.

With that said, take a listen below to Emeli's cut "Easier in Bed" and if you like what you hear, lookout for her sophomore album, that is rumored to be slated for release come 2015!

Emeli Sande's debut album Our Version of Events was my favorite debut album from a new artist in 2012 hands down. While it's been slept on a bit here in the US, it just happens to be the biggest LP of 2012 in the UK having sold over 1.4 million copies since its February 2012 release there.

With that said, my favorite cut from the album has to be Emeli's joint "Clown." While Our Version of Events is a great body of work and I hope you will take a complete listen to her set, you should definitely press play on "Clown," which is one of those cuts from the album that fans love and causal listeners shall miss.

Emeli Sandé has been quite lately, as I am sure she is busy working on crafting an amazing followup to her blockbuster debut album Our Version of Events and while we eagerly await to hear what she's been cooking up in the studio, I thought it would be nice to revisit one of my favorite performances from her.

Lifted from Emeli Sandé's live CD/DVD combo Live at Royal Albert Hall, this performance from Emeli offers up some of her best live vocal performances from her to date and with "Clown" being my favorite cut from her album, it seems like the perfect performance to revisit.

Remix: "Next to Me" (Emeli Sandé ft. Kendrick Lamar)

While Kendrick looks like he is getting ready to release his next album and Emeli Sandé has been hard at work on crafting the followup to her debut album, I thought it would be nice to reivist their collaboration on the official remix to "Next to Me"

Lifted from her critically-acclaimed debut album Our Version of Events,  Kendrick Lamar offers a solid verse to kick off this remix to "Next to Me" and you can listen to it below.

Album in the Works: "The London Sessions" (Mary J. Blige)

Mary J. Blige, The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul went to London this past summer to work with a who's who of UK's current hitmakers including Emeli Sandé, Disclosure, Sam Smith, Naughty Boy, Eg White, as well as Sam Romans and from her time across the pond, she created The London Sessions, her first album with Capital Records that is slated for release on December 2nd.

Featuring twelve new songs from Blige, the set is led by "Whole Damn Year," as well as the Sam Smith co-written "Therapy," which was inspired by Amy Winehouse. Offered as the official follow-up to 2011's My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act I), Blige also released a Christmas album last year and earlier this summer released brand new material for the Think Like A Man Too soundtrack

With that said, The London Sessions will arrive on December 2nd via Capitol Records and is now available for pre-order on iTunes. Peep the official tracklisting below and also take a listen to her newest joint "Therapy," which was released today.

Entitled "Suitcase," it was never officially released as a single, but gain some visibility here in the States thanks to a carefully placed musical feature on Vh1's Love & Hip-Hop franchise. With that said, during the iTunes Festival 2012, Emeli was one of the headlining acts and performed a riveting rendition of "Suitcase."

Remix: "Free" (Rudimental ft. Emeli Sandé & Nas)

Last year, Rudimental released the official music video for their sixth single "Free," which is lifted from their latest album Home and while I was a bit unfamiliar with the quartet when I stumbled upon this remix last year, I've been getting more and more into them since discovering their Emeli Sandé collaboration.

With that said, during my process of getting to know them better, I came upon their then recent remix to "Free" with the assistance of Nas. Taking their original collaboration with Emeli Sandé up a notch, take a listen below to the Nas assisted remix to "Free" and Enjoy!
