Second Listen: "Cherish the Day" (Robert Glasper Experiment & Lalah Hathaway)

With the release of Black Radio 2 almost two years ago, a lot more people, myself included revisited Robert Glasper's Grammy-winning LP Black Radio, which features a who's who in music today, just as its followup Black Radio 2 does.

With that said, my clear favorite from the first LP in the Black Radio series has to be the Lalah Hathaway assisted take on the Sade classic "Cherish the Day." Therefore, take a second listen below to Lalah Hathaway and Robert Glasper Experiment's amazing collaboration on Sade's "Cherish the Day" and Enjoy!

Live Audio: "Love Is Stronger Than Pride" (Rahsaan Patterson)

Last night I was talking to my friend Terron about vocalists and somehow we got on the topic of the forever slept on and underrated vocal phenom Rahsaan Patterson. We both agreed that he could chop anyone up in a few notes with his aw-inspiring range and heavenly tone.

With that said, Terron told me to listen to any of his covers of Sade's "Love Is Stronger Than Pride" and so off to YouTube I went and found this sublime live audio recording of him performing this Sade classic in Tokyo from back in 2007.

Therefore, soak in this sublime live rendition of Sade's "Love Is Stronger Than Pride from Rahsaan Patterson below and Enjoy!

Amazing Cover: "Pearls" (India.Arie ft. Dobet Gnahore)

Back in 2009, India.Arie released her fourth studio album Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics and while the album did not match the commercial success of 2006's Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship, her fourth studio album would go onto net India her third Grammy Award in 2010 for Best Urban/Alternative Performance for her rendition of Sade's "Pearls."

Interestingly enough, India.Arie would go onto open for Sade on their Lovers Rock Tour back in 2001 while she was getting her start in the industry and years later would cover their classic cut "Pearls" with the assistance of Dobet Gnahore.

With that said, take a listen after the jump to India's collaboration with Dobet Gnahore on Sade's "Pearls" and Enjoy!

Live Video of the Day: "Cherish The Day" (Robert Glasper Experiment ft. Lalah Hathaway)

Last year, I had the pleasure of attending Robert Glasper's concert at The Roxy here in Los Angeles and seeing as it was Grammy weekend, everybody was in the house to take part in the Robert Glasper Experiment.

With that said, one of the highlights from the night was Lalah Hathaway's collaboration on Sade's "Cherish The Day" and while video from that night seems to of only found its way on the net in bits and pieces, I thought it would be appropriate to peep this live performance of their collaboration from the Highline Ballroom.

Peep the Robert Glasper Experiment and Lalah Hathaway offer up a phenomenal rendition of "Cherish The Day" below and Enjoy!

With that said, I thought it would be appropriate to revisit one of the group's sublime performances of my all time favorite joint from them, "By Your Side." Peep Sade's phenomenal rendition of their classic "By Your Side" below and Enjoy!
