Amazing Cover: "The Track of My Tears" (Natasha Bedingfield)

A few years ago during PBS's broadcast of The Sounds of Motown from the White Houston, Natasha Bedingfield offered a sublime cover of The Miracles' classic "The Track of My Tears."  Bedingfield offered up one of if not the best performance of the night and really took it there.

While the start was a bit off, Natasha reals it in and offers up a raw emotional performance that hopefully she will one day have the opportunity to record. With that said, check it out below and Enjoy!

While she has had moderate success here with one off singles, her albums have never seemed to get too much traction on the charts and her sublime vocals aren't being match with the success they deserve in my book. I've always been a fan of Natasha Bedingfield and I feel as though she never has rightly received her dues thus far in her career. Natasha Bedingfield is always good for a nice uptempo joint that comes with a message. With that said, it seems as though her and Jamie Foxx have recently collaborated on the soulful uptempo "Weightless." While it sounds like an unmastered song, "Weightless" has a lot of potential and sounds like a good look for for both Bedingfield and Foxx. Over here in the States, Natasha Bedingfield's breakout hit was her 2006 US release of her hit "Unwritten." Though Natasha had released other songs before, it was "Unwritten" that moved the singer-songwriter from a bubbling under act to a full blown recognizable act. It seems as though Natasha Bedingfield's latest album "Strip Me" has gone highly unnoticed by critics and casual listeners. While the British singer-songwriter has found success with previous efforts, "Strip Me" seemed to miss the boat with the listening public. Tour Dates: "Less Is More" (Natasha Bedingfield)

Natasha Bedingfield is officially hitting the road this summer to help promote her latest album "Strip Me," which was released at the tail end of last year. Joining her on her "Less Is More" summer tour will be none other then  Kate Voegele. Currenty, the tour is scheduled to kick off  June 8 at the Somerville Theatre in Boston, MA.
