New Joint: "Zebras and Airplanes" (Alicia Keys)
Yesterday for Valentine's Day, a previously unreleased joint from Alicia Keys entitled "Zebras and Airplanes" hit the net.
Recorded during her Element of Freedom era, the song was inspired by a painting by Chloe Early and even though Alicia recorded "Zebras and Airplanes" five years ago, it's a fresh song in my book that could work on radio today.
"I had never been overcome to write a song after seeing a painting before, but this one sent me to another place,” wrote Alicia on her website AK Vault. "I felt it! The power, the freedom, the strength to gallop and fly. And I knew right at that moment I would write a song called 'Zebras and Airplanes' to describe that kind of love. The whole of you—body and soul—can gallop and fly!"
With that said, take a listen below to this "new joint" from Alicia Keys in the form of "Zebras and Airplanes" and Enjoy!
