Reverend Kim Burrell took to New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey earlier this year to honor the legacy of her late friend Whitney Houston. Though Kim was asked to perform her spirited rendition of "I Believe in You and Me," Burrell elected to perform a customized rendition of the Sam Cooke classic "A Change Is Gonna Come" after getting the okay from Whitney's mother Cissy Houston.
