As I get set to see the Queen of Soul Ms. Aretha Franklin on Wednesday here in LA, I wanted to get ready by offering up one of my favorite joints from her discography, "Spirit In The Dark." Lifted from the album of the same name back in 1970, the following performance of the Queen crooning out a sublime rendition of "Spirit In The Dark," is the stuff of icons and legends.
