The BET Awards '12 are slated to take place and air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on July 1 at 8pm. With that said, much has been buzzed about for BET's forthcoming tribute to Whitney Houston and recently The Associated Press has revealed that Houston's mother gospel legend Cissy Houston is slated to perform next month during the tribute in addition to "a few top divas," who have yet to be disclosed. While one could speculate, I would assume Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, and maybe some other vocal powerhouse divas might be involved in this highly anticipated tribute. Stay toon and lookout for the tribute when it goes down on July 1st at 8pm on BET.
