Erykah Badu had been hard at work on a myriad of project including a forthcoming album with The Cannabinoids (an eclectic group of musicians and producers hailing from Badu's hometown of Dallas). In addition, to Cannabinoid's debut album, Badu has also been grinding on a side solo project set for release later this year. Speaking to S2S Magazine, Badu stated that "I give myself room to breathe and grow and to procrastinate...but to finish those projects is my next successful moment that I am seeking." As always I'll keep you posted on Badu's upcoming activities.
