Project in the Works: "Somebody to Love Me" (MJB Naked Mix)" (Mary J Blige)

Mary J Blige recently took to her twitter to announce the video release date to the possible first single from her forthcoming tenth album. "Somebody to Love Me" (MJB Naked Mix)," which is Mary's remake and take on the Diddy Dirty Money track with an added verse from Lil Wayne, has been making an impact on radio and come next friday, the video should be impacting the internet. We'll keep you posted to any new developments in her project and the video release.

Second Listen: "I Apologize" (Anita Baker)

Take a second listen to this Anita Baker classic "I Apologize." Released back in 1994 from "Rhythm Of Love," Baker croons out a smooth mellow jam that's definitely one of her definitive classics. The song which is off of Scott's sophomore album "Beautifully Human: Words And Sounds Vol. 2," wasn't released as a single from the project, yet received acclaim from both critics and fans alike. Tour in the Works: Jennifer Hudson

The newly svelte and vocal powerhouse Jennifer Hudson recently tweeted the start date to her upcoming tour in support of her sophomore album "I Remember Me." With a recent #2 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with a strong estimated sales of 167,000 Hudson is set to hit the road June 19th through her Weight Watchers sponsored tour. No further details have been released from Hudson or her camp, but it should be interesting to see if Hudson decides to partner up with another act or hit the road alone.

Time will tell how the tour shapes up, but we can speculate a longer tour run then Hudson's first outing with Robin Thicke as that tour was cut short due to Hudson's then pregnancy. As locations, venues, and dates are released, we will post them for eager fans of Jennifer's.

Just a few moments ago, Ledisi tweeted about her dropping some new music. Attached to the tweet was the following image which shows the single cover for her new single "Pieces of Me," which will be the lead single off of her forthcoming album.

Amazing Cover: "I Still Believe" (Mariah Carey)

Take a listen to Mariah Carey's cover of Brenda K. Starr's hit "I Still Believe." Lifted from her "#1s" album back in 1999, Carey re-recorded the song as a tribute to Starr, as she had been Starr's backing singer in the late 1980s and Starr had helped jump start Carey's career by handing a demo tape to Sony Music Entertainment executive Tommy Mottola, who then signed Carey's first recording contract. Entitled "Pyrite (Fools Gold),  the song is an acoustic guitar driven joint with a strong vocal and  lyrical showing from Frank Ocean. Though the song fits right in with the rest of the material on Ocean's amazing mixtape, one can only imagine why this gem was lost in the shuffle to the final track listing of  "Nostalgia, Ultra." Second Listen: "Easy Conversation" (Jill Scott)

Though never officially released as a single, "Easy Conversation" was featured on the "Brown Sugar" soundtrack for the 2002 film. On this smooth silky soulful track, Scott coos effortlessly on this instant classic. Take a second listen for those who are familiar with the song, and a first for those who aren't. Hopefully this "new discovery/rediscovery" will tide fans over until June.
