Album in the Works: "The Light of the Sun" (Jill Scott)

Now that Scott has settled with her former label Hidden Beach, she has just signed a distribution deal with Warner Brothers to release her upcoming album "The Light of the Sun." Expected to hit stores in early summer, Scott's upcoming album is the much anticipated followup to her 2007 Gold selling  "The Real Thing: Words And Sounds Vol. 3." While it's been a while since Scott released new material, she has previewed two potential songs from the album a ballad entitled "Hear My Call" as well as a funky mid-tempo entitled "I Love You."
