Live Video of the Day: "Still" (Tamia)

Over two years ago while promoting her then latest album Beautiful Surprise, Tamia stopped by SiriusXM's Heart & Soul and performed a stirring rendition of "Still," which was rerecorded for her album.

With that said, watch Tamia's powerhouse performance of "Still" below and if you haven't checked out her new album Love Life (2015), it's a sublime body of work and worth a listen!

Second Listen: "Still" (Tamia)

Tamia's country rendition of "Still" still goes hard in my books and is one of the most underrated joints from 2012. While we only heard the title-track, "Beautiful Surprise" and "Give Me You" from Tamia's latest LP,  I  really wanted this rendition of "Still" to be released from Beautiful Surprise, as it is the standout track besides "Beautiful Surprise on the album.

Updated from the song she originally recorded with Jermaine Dupri and released on her album 2004 album "More," Tamia and Claude Kelly teamed up for this rerecorded rendition which found the famed singer recording it in roughly three takes. Instead of piecing her takes together, Tamia performed "Still" with the musicians simultaneously and took the best take. Take a second listen below to this country tinged rendition of "Still," which appears on Beautiful Surprise and support this sistah buy picking up a copy of her new album Love Life.

Second Listen: "Can't Get Enough" (Tamia)

As Tamia gets ready to release her sixth album Love Life in a few weeks, I am reminded of her joint "Can't Get Enough," which was the lead single from her 2006 fourth album Between Friends.

Produced by Rodney Jerkins, "Can't Get Enough" would go onto peak at #7 on the Billboard Hot Adult R&B Airplay charts and helped reintroduce Tamia to the marketplace on her own independent terms. With that said, take a second listen to "Can't Get Enough" below and Enjoy!

New Joint: "Stuck With Me" (Tamia)

While Tamia released the lead single from her highly anticipated forthcoming album Love Life earlier this year, Tamia is once again back with a new single with "Stuck With Me." A slow-burning smooth quiet storm jam, Tamia's seductive vocals paired with Plow Da Don's production equal a sensual offering that should quickly move itself up the Adult R&B charts in my opinion.

With that said, take a few minutes out of your day and listen to "Stuck With Me" below and lookout for her forthcoming album Love Life when it drops next month on June 9th!

Mashup: "Beautiful Change" (Tamia)

Yesterday on Twitter, I discovered this brilliant mashup of Tamia's semi-recent hit single "Beautiful Surprise" with Musiq Soulchild's "Don't Change." Entitled "Beautiful Change," AudioSavage gave Tamia's "Beautiful Surprise" the slow jam/ballad treatment, transforming her solid mid-tempo banger into a touching heartfelt ballad.

Utilizing Tamia's vocals from "Beautiful Surprise" and transposing them over Musiq Soulchild's classic cut "Don't Change," AudioSavage really changes up the vibe and feel of "Beautiful Surprise" transforming it into the brilliant Beautiful Change."

With that said, take a listen to it below and if you like what you hear, cop the free download here.

Live Video of the Day: "Can't Get Enough" (Tamia)

Back in 2006, Tamia released her sublime LP Between Friends and the lead single from the project was her infectious hit and instant bedroom classic "Can't Get Enough," which I am sure is still in heavy rotation for a lot of folks out there.

With that said, while Tamia was promoting her album, she hit up MSN's Sympatico to perform a flawless acoustic set that included a riveting performance of "Can't Get Enough." While there was a rumored live album in the works following Between Friends, it has yet to materialize and hopefully we will get one sooner rather than later because it's about time we get these live vocals on record.
