Showcase: "An Intimate Performance" (Demi Lovato)

Though John Legend recently came out and said that he didn't think Demi Lovato was a real singer, I have to disagree with his assessment of the newly minted "X Factor US" judge, as she is one of the best young singers currently in the industry. If you won't take my word for it, watch her "An Intimate Performance" that was presented by VEVO where the famed songstress performed a set of hits including  "Give Your Heart a Break," "Fix a Heart," "Don't Forget," "My Love Is Like a Star" and "Skyscraper." Watch her "An Intimate Performance" below and Enjoy!

Showcase "Acoustic Conversation" (Tyrese)

The Singersroom has just dropped another edition to their "Acoustic Conversation" series and this time they've selected R&B crooner Tyrese. While his latest album "Open Invitations" hit stores yesterday, Tyrese took it back with several of his hits throughout his 15 year plus career. Per the video description,

"Acoustic Conversations is an extension of Singersroom.com and our ongoing commitment to providing quality live entertainment. This event is geared to opening the lines of communication between artists and their fans through a Q&A session accompanied by an acoustic performance. This Acoustic Conversation features recording R&B artist Tyrese.
After a nine year hiatus from music, Tyrese reconnected with his audience stating, "I never sat down and said I want to be a singer or I want to be an actor. It just happened. I have been able to extend a 30 second commercial into fifteen years of some form of entertainment. I'm very grateful that y'all have stayed with me. Thank you very much."
In a candid question and answer segment driven by fans, Tyrese addressed a range of questions on cheating, love and working on his new project 'Open Invitation.'"

Showcase: Jill Scott

Yesterday BET aired a 30 minute performance special featuring the highly talented Jill Scott. During her set, Jill launched into an infectious version of her buzz single "Shame (Feat. Eve & The A Group)," as well as a smooth mellow performance of "So In Love" with Anthony Hamilton. Following a bit of a break. Scott then launched into one of my favorite tracks from her new album entitled "Hear My Call." A touching ballad about the lowest point in her life, Scott's honest vocal rapport allows listeners and viewers to harp back into her place of sorrow when she wrote it. After this heartfelt ballad, Scott took us back into her classic mid-tempo "A Long Walk," which was then followed by "So Blessed," which is off of  Jill's phenomenal new album "The Light Of The Sun." With all of that said, take a few minutes to watch and enjoy Jill's amazing set below!

Then Jennifer launched into one of my favorites from her new album entitled "Gone" and the followed it up with her single "Where You At" and the Rich Harris produced "No One Gonna Love You." Afterwords, Jennifer gets down to "Why Is It So Hard," slows it down with her co-penned single "I Remember Me," and then speeds it back up a bit with "Don't Look Down." At the end, Jennifer closed it out with my favorite track from her album "I Remember Me," "Gone." Check out her set bellow and Enjoy!
