Live Clip: "Her Favorite Song" (Mayer Hawthorne)

Mayer Hawthorne took to NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote his latest LP Where Does This Door Go and he opted to perform the set's lead single "Her Favorite Song." Featuring some tight harmonies from his background singers in addition to some solid grooves from his band, Mayer Hawthorne and his crew offer up a solid performance of "Her Favorite Song" and you can watch it all go down after the jump!

Mayer Hawthorne released his third LP How Do You Do in October of last year and one of my favorite joints from the set is the the mid-tempo thumper "No Strings." Released as the set's lead single, the song gain some traction, though not enough in my opinion. Mayer Hawthorne is back with a new joint and this time it comes in the form of his Kendrick Lamar assisted joint "Crime." Lifted from his forthcoming LP Where Does This Door Go, the smooth mid-tempo from Mayer Hawthorne has a tight bass and guitar line and is worth a few listens after the jump!
