During her Blood Solo Tour here in the States to support her Blood Solo EP which just recently dropped, Lianne La Havas covered the Queen of Soul's Ms. Aretha Franklin's iconic classic "Say A Little Prayer."

Over a year ago at AfroPunk 2014, Lianne La Havas premeired a new song "Ghost," which forward a year later is featured on her brilliant sophomore album Blood, that seems to be getting a little more shine as we close out the year.

With that said, "Ghost" is one of my personal favorites from her sublime sophomore set and while Lianne doesn't get as much shine as some of her other British counterparts, hopefully people will realize the gem that she is to music as she possesses a haunting voice and a powerful pen.

New Video: "Green & Gold" (Lianne La Havas)

Lianne La Havas just recently released her sophomore album Blood to to help promote the album she has lifted "Green & Gold" as the set's new single.

Lyrically, "Green & Gold" is written from the point of view of a young woman coming into her own from childhood to adulthood, oftentimes reflecting back on her maturation process. With that said, the official visual is a stunning interpretation featuring just Lianne and broken glass.

Like myself, Lianne La Havas was captivated with Jill Scott's sublime debut album Who Is Jill Scott?: Words And Sounds Vol. 1 and during a special rendition of Candid Cover on Billboard Sessions, Lianne performed a solid rendition of "He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)."

While no one really owns this song in my book besides Jill Scott, Lianne La Havas offers a brilliant interpretation of "He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)"and you can watch her beautiful cover of it below!

New Video: "What You Don't Do" (Lianne La Havas)

UK songstress Lianne La Havas is set to release her sophomore album Blood on July 31st and yesterday, Lianne released the second official single from her album with the video for "What You Don't Do."

Produced by Matt Hales of Aqualung, "What You Don't Do"  is another sublime joint from Lianne and features an old-school familiar medley with lush production and background vocals.

New Video: "Unstoppable" (Lianne La Havas)

In April, Lianne La Havas announced the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, Blood, which is slated for release on July 31st and ahead of that release, she has unearthed the set's lead single "Unstoppable" earlier this week.

Written with Paul Epworth, "Unstoppable" is a smooth mid-tempo from Lianne and a nice return after her sublime debut back in 2012. With that said, Lianne also released a fun video for "Unstoppable" which finds her dancing in several colorful outfits and singing a bit of her song a cappella at the end of the clip.

Lianna La Havas has been making moves sicne the end os 2012/ beginning of 2013 here in the States and back in March, DJ T. Williams gave one of her latest singles "Elusive" a Garage inspired remix.
