Amazing Cover: "Love Ballad" (Kenny Lattimore & Chante Moore)

Back in 2006, then couple Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore released their collaborative album Uncovered. One of the standout tracks from the album is the couple's spirited cover of the L.T.D. classic "Love Ballad" that really warranted more attention then it ever received in my opinion.

Artist News: Chrisette Michele & Leela James join R&B Divas: Los Angeles

TV One's R&B Divas franchise is getting a freashing up in its casting as a Grammy-winner and an underrated powerhouse vocalist are set to join the new season of R&B Divas: Los Angeles. News also broke that two of the original cast mates, Kelly Price and former En Vogue and Lucy Pearl vocalist Dawn Richardson are existing after one season with the show.

Joining the new faces though are original cast mates Claudette Ortiz, Lil' Mo, Chanté Moore and Michel’le. Hopefully with a restart in some of the casting that there will be less drama between the ladies and more musical projects as all of the women involved in this show have phenomenal voices and underrated careers.

Special: "R&B Divas LA: Divalogues"

TV One is keeping the stream rolling of one of the network's biggest hits R&B Divas: Los Angeles and now a one hour special entitled R&B Divas LA: Divalogues is slated to air Saturday, October 5 at 10pm EST/ 9pm CST and will showcase an extended version of the stage production mounted by cast members during the season finale.

Featuring a more in-depth look at the powerful monologues that Chanté Moore, Lil’ Mo, Claudette Ortiz and Michel’le performed along with some powerful songs, interviews with the Divas will be inter-spliced throughout the monologue special.

"The compelling personal stories of the cast of R&B Divas LA helped the series quickly gain a dedicated following," remarked D’Angela Proctor, SVP Programming and Production, TV One. "Fans of the show have been clamoring for more and TV One is more than happy to deliver with the Divalogues special."

Artist News: "R&B Divas" Tour Update (Chanté Moore)

Last week on the part two reunion special of TV One's R&B Divas: Los Angeles, Kelly Price informed viewers of the show that a few of the divas from R&B Divas: Atlanta (Faith Evans, Keke Wyatt, Brownstone), Chanté Moore and herself would be going on tour. While the announcement took some of the divas in attendance aback during the reunion special, it seemed like a logical idea to bring these two brands together on the road, even for a possible spin-off show in the works about them on tour?!

Either way it might've been, Chanté Moore is clearning the air informing fans that there might have been a tour in the works at one point, but now it's not going anywhere.

"It was a premature announcement that was made by Kelly," Chante Moore said during a recent interview with The Jasmine Brand. "I thought by now, it would be cleared up or settled – that it would happen or would be for sure, or either way I thought something would be settled and at this moment, nothing is happening."

While the fate of the tour is still unclear, hopefully an official announcement about the status of the tour will be made either way. Peep the interview after the jump where Chanté clears the air and let's see what happens.

TV Rewind: "R&B Divas: Los Angeles" Season 1 Ep.10

Part two of the two part R&B Divas: Los Angeles aired earlier this evening and the drama continued to roll. Of course host Wendy Williams delved into the issues that Kelly had with Fred being selected as the director, why Kelly became the villain between the divas on the show and Lil Mo and Kelly go at it about their personal falling out due to the show.

In addition to prying into the issues that revolved around Kelly, Wendy asked the divas about Dawn's absence and their thoughts on the former En Vogue diva. Also Wendy helps broker a unity amongst the divas after showing a clip of Kelly's performance from her own monologue series. Last night on TV One,  part one of the two part R&B Divas: Los Angeles reunion aired and "shockingly" Dawn Robinson was not present to partake in the festivities that were hosted by Wendy Williams.

Of course Wendy got right down to the nitty gritty of the drama that occurred this season and we even got to know the ladies a little but better through some of Wendy's probing questions. With that said, it is revealed to Lil Mo, Chanté Moore, Michel'le and Claudette Ortiz during their rehearsals that Kelly and Dawn have launched to do their own monologues and of course the drama ensues as a repercussion and opening night kicks off for the monologues. In addition to the drama, Chanté, Lil Mo, Michel'le and Claudette all open up during their monologue performances and we get to see another side of these divas.

Earlier tonight, TV One aired their hit reality spinoff R&B Divas: Los Angeles and during the seventh episode, the divas deal with the drama and fallout after Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson depart from the monologues.

With that said, Lil Mo, Michel'le, Chanté Moore and Claudette Ortiz deal with the shifting and changes in the show and revamp the show to now reflect their voices. Meanwhile, Claudette opens up about why she had been missing in action from the rehearsals, while Michel'le, Lil Mo catchup with Chanté about Dawn quitting the monologue. Michel'le also hits the studio and the stage during the episode and the divas move forward with their commitment to the project.

Lil Mo also confronts Kelly about her silent treatment and it's revealed that Kelly and Dawn have their own monologue in the works.
