Back in 2010, Avery*Sunshine opened up for Ledisi during one of her tour stops and during Avery's set, she performed a sublime medley of hits from the likes of D'Angelo, Jill Scott, and The Gap Band.

Merging the D'Angelo classic "Lady," Jill Scott's evergreen ballad "He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)" and the iconic Gap Band's "Outstanding," Avery*Sunshine sets the stage on fire with her brand of soul and I really hope she records her medley of these three classic hits one day because this Avery*Sunshine creation is truly the jam.

New Video: "Call My Name" (Avery*Sunshine)

A few days late on this, but Avery*Sunshine has released a new music video for her single "Call My Name," which is lifted from her sublime new album The SunRoom, which is available now in-stores and at all digital retailers.

Featuring Avery singing out her phenomenal ballad in dim lights with a strong brimmed hat, the visual is a perfect fit for her single and you can watch her sublime visual below.

A few days ago, Shanachie Entertainment released artist-on-the-rise Avery*Sunshine new single, "Call My Name, which is lifted from her highly anticipated forthcoming album The SunRoom, which is slated for release on May 27th.

While The SunRoom isn't slated for release for almost a month, Avery has been on the road in association with ESSENCE Magazine bringing her brand of soul music to the ears of everyone through the United States. Noel Gourdin is back and this time his is bringing Avery*Sunshine along for the ride on their grown-and-sexy jam "Can't Wait," which is lifted from Noel's forthcoming album City Heart, Southern Soul, which is slated for release on February 18th.

This past week I was fortunate enough to encounter Avery*Sunshine at "A Music Experience with Ledisi " in Chicago. During the event, Ledisi brought up this underrated songstress to the stage to help her finish off one of her songs and then Mrs. Sunshine let loose and brought the house down with Ledisi. With that said, I've been hooked on her music ever since and one of my jams off of her album is the powerful "Ugly Part Of Me." If you're late on Avery*Sunshine like I was or have been a fan of hers for a minute please check out her amazing performance below and make sure you go get her album "Avery*Sunshine" ASAP! Definitely one of those gotta have records that you can introduce your friends to.
