A few days late on this, but as I always say, better late than never. With that said, Mary J. Blige is gearing up to release a new album later this year and after collaborating with Disclosure and Sam Smith on their own respected project, Mary has caught the UK music bug and is set to collaborate with the who's who of the UK music scene.
Entitled The London Sessions, Mary J. Blige is teaming up with Emeli Sandé, Sam Smith, Naughty Boy, and Disclosure amongst others and is set for release in the UK on November 24th and then December 2nd in the US. Helmed by executive producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins"it will be Blige's first album to be released on Capital Records, after ending her longtime partnership with Interscope.
The lead single from the forthcoming project from Blige is entitled "Therapy," which she co-wrote with Sam Smith and Eg White and will be available for instant download on September 23rd via pre-order.
With that said, lookout for The London Sessions when it's released here in the States on December 2nd and peep a behind-the-scenes trailer about the making of Blige's upcoming album.
