2014 is starting off right musically in my book as an unreleased joint from Brandy has surfaced on the net in the form of "Cigarette." While it is unclear if this is a new joint lifted from her followup to Brandy's sublime Two Eleven (2012) or if this is a new song that she's recorded for her followup to her much slept on sixth studio album, "Cigarette" is a winner in my book.
Featuring Brandy's iconic smokey contralto vocals and a catchy hook, the minor tags from TrueExclusive don't even hinder the vibe of "Cigarette." Brandy coos effortlessly the memorable chorus "[t]aking shots to the head, and after that/ You can catch me smoking on a cigarette/ Cuz you left" and hopefully a new album will materialize from the Grammy-winning songstress in 2014.
