While on the red carpet at the 5th annual ESSENCE Black Women in Music event earlier this past week, Chrisette Michele opened up to BlackTree TV about some of her current musical inspirations (Solange, Lianne La Havas) and filming currently for the forthcoming second season of TV One's R&B Divas: Los Angeles.
In addition to revealing her current plans of filming R&B Divas, Chrisette shared some big news about being in the studio working on a new project entitled The Lyricist Opus with an orchestra and how this musical project is going to be about live instrumentation and music.
Also revealing a May 26th release date, I don't know about you, but I'm excited to Chrisette is already working on a followup project to Better.
