Last night during music publishing organization ASCAP's 5th Annual Women Behind The Music in New York City, K. Michelle was one of the women asked to perform for the honorees that included singer/songwriter Stacy Barthe, music executive/manager Tina Davis and MBK Entertainment VP & Managing Partner Jeanine Mclean.
With that said, K. Michellle opted to perform a solid rendition of the jazz standard "Summertime" from Porgy & Bess with only the assistance of a keyboardist. Allowing her vocals to take center stage, K. Michelle killed it in my opinion and you can watch her dope performance below.
