Playback: "Pink Crush Velvet" (Raheem DeVaughn)
Raheem DeVaughn released his fourth studio album A Placed Called Love Land via Mass Appeal Entertainment, INgrooves and Fontana Distribution this past Tuesday and the standout from his LP for me has to be his Mario Winans produced joint "Pink Crush Velvet."
Written by Raheem DeVaughn, Tommie McGlauflin, Ryan Toby and Mario Winans, this smooth grown-and-sexy joint is definitely single worthy and I am sure would be heating up Urban Adult Contemporary radio the minute it reaches the airwaves because this is what us grown folks have been in need of for a minute.
With that said, I prefer Raheem's ThisIsRnB acoustic rendition to the dope recorded rendition and thought it would be appropriate to take a playback to "Pink Crush Velvet" as we kick off a new work week. Take a listen below to "Pink Crush Velvet" and if you haven't checked out A Place Called Love Land yet, give Raheem's first independent album release a shot!
