Queen Latifah kicked off the first season of her new talk show The Queen Latifah Show today and on the first episode of the new season, Willow Smith stopped by to perform a new joint "Summer Fling," with her band Melodic Chaotic. While I was unaware that Willow had a new song out, "Summer Fling" has a very Frank Ocean vibe going on and Willow has really grown as a singer since the last time we saw her performed.
Armed with a British accent, Willow explains that "[j]ust for clarity, the word fling means something that's short lived. And [that] this song is dedicated to all the kids around the world whose summer is never long enough," during the middle of her performance. With that said, watch Willow belt out "Summer Fling" after the jump and for those that missed "Summer Fling," like I did, peep the official music video for the joint as well.
