Back in 1985, Meli'sa Morgan released her debut single "Do Me Baby," which also served as the title-track to her debut LP Do Me Baby. Originally lifted in 1982 from Prince's 1981 LP Controversy, Meli'sa Morgan's rendition would actually be the first charting rendition of "Do Me Baby" and peaked at #1 on the Hot Black Singles chart.
