I was cruising around LA last night and Bilal's "Soul Sista" came onto the radio much to my surprise as it's been a minute since I've heard this joint on the radio. With that said, back in 2000 Bilal released his official lead single "Soul Sista" to much critical and commercial acclaim. Eventually peaking at #18 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, it helped Bilal's debut album "1st Born Second" debut in the top ten of the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in 2001.
