As Tyrese's forthcoming album "Open Invitation" is scheduled to drop in less then two weeks, I thought we could take it back to one of the songs that started it off for the then young up and coming crooner. Released as the third single back in 1999 from Tyrese's self-titled debut album 1998's "Tyrese," "Sweet Lady" would go onto become the crooner's biggest hit until 2003's "How You Gonna Act Like That." Peaking at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 on the R&B charts, "Sweet Lady" would go onto give Tyrese his first Grammy nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance back in 2000.
