While Jennifer Hudson and her family have found redemption since William Balfour has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2008 shootings of the mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew of Hudson, I thought it might be appropriate to give Hudson's sublime cover of Brooks & Dunn's "Believe" a playback for those who have missed the greatness of Jennifer's cover. Lifted from her sophomore album "I Remember Me," "Believe" is such a powerful song and Hudson's gospel tinged vocals really take the message of this country song to a higher place.
