New Album: "The After 2am Sessions LP" (Ahmed Sirour)

Ahmed Sirour just keeps releasing great music and this skilled cat has just released a a great new album entitled "The After 2am Sessions LP." Featuring my favorite Whitney Houston cover to come after her tragic passing ("I Believe In You and Me"), as well as a host of other great originals, "The After 2am Sessions EP" is a great addition to ones collection. Ahmed explains exactly what it is below and you can also take a preview listen to his great new LP. If you like what you hear, go and purchase a copy!

The conclusion to 2011's release of "The After 2am Sessions EP" where up-and-coming musician/composer/producer, Ahmed Sirour, attempted an unorthodox approach by releasing a fully instrumental, slow-tempo'd, 6-track EP as his debut album, utilizing 3 themes of Love: The Romantic, the Erotic, and the Spiritual.
One year later and Ahmed returns with 6 new songs to complete the full album and release "The After 2am Sessiosn LP", continuing where he left off, still incorporating the same themes, but delving further to create a soundscape that completely transports the listener to another place from their sometimes mundane or chaotic reality...using music as a means to set a peaceful mood, to stimulate the senses, and to rejuvenate the soul.
This is not a mainstream album, and you may not even hear it played on most radio stations, based on its non-conformist format...this is the soothing soundtrack for every day people, supported and promoted by every day people--from all around the globe--who share a love of music and the need, at times, to just sit back and unwind.
