Back in the 1980s, Patti LaBelle did a phenomenal impromptu rendition of the spiritual "Wade In The Water." Take a listen below and Enjoy!

Yesterday Alicia Keys appeared on ABC's Good Morning America to promote to re-release of her debut album "Songs in A Minor" in a commemorative effort entitled "Songs In A Minor - 10th Anniversary Edition." During her appearance on the morning show, Keys performed "Butterflyz" which is my favorite cut from her debut album and also happens to be the first song that she ever wrote. Take a listen below to Keys performing "Butterflyz" live in Times Square and make sure you pick up a copy of her commemorative album "Songs In A Minor - 10th Anniversary Edition."

As fans have been promised an extended version of Beyonce's "Run The World (Girls)" on the deluxe target edition of "4," an alternative version of the video has appeared earlier today which seems to focus more on the visual and less on the choreography of the video. It is not clear if this is the version that is suppose to appear on the deluxe edition, or if fans will be treated to the buzzed about nearly 18 minute visual that Beyonce edited herself. With that said, peep the newly released alternative clip below and Enjoy!

Preview: "Year of 4" (Beyonce)

While one day sales numbers project Beyonce's fourth album to come in at around 300,000 next week, B and her team have put together a mini documentary entitled "Year of 4," which will give viewers and fans an inside look at Beyonce's year off as well as her process behind creating "4." New Joint: "Freakin You" (J. Holiday)

J. Holiday seems to be coming back out with some new music as a new joint entitled "Freakin You." This smooth mid-tempo seems to be in line with his sound, but as a potential first single, I don't think it will carry the entire project, though as a buzz single or furture single "Freakin You" sounds like a good bet. Listen below and Enjoy!

Chart News: Jill Scott achieves #1 Album

Jill Scott's fourth studio album "The Light Of The Sun," was released last week to tremendous praise from both critics and fans. "The Light Of The Sun marks the first time Jill Scott has released new material since 2007's "The Real Thing: Words And Sounds Vol. 3" and also marks a new recording era with Warner Brothers as the songstress inked a distribution deal with the label earlier this year. With that said, the numbers are in and Jill Scott has achieved her first number one album on the Billboards 200 Album Charts as well as her second number one on the R&B charts. Scott has achieved this goal through selling over 137,000 copies in her first week and with Beyonce's new album "4" debuting this week, it seems as if Scott will only hold this coveted  position for this week. Either way it ends up, congratulations are in order for Scott and her team for this achievement.

Amazing Cover: "Purple Rain" (Fantasia)

Fantasia has never been one to shy away from singing some classic songs and with vocal chops like hers, she shouldn't be. With that in mind, Fantasia took to the Indigo O2 in London last year for her first concert across the pond. During her set, the American Idol winner took on Prince's classic "Purple Rain," and as always Tasia took it to church with her gospel tinged rendition. Watch it below and let Fantasia take you to a higher place!

Second Listen: "Dragon Days" (Alicia Keys)

Back in 2003, Alicia Keys dropped her sophomore album, the now classic, "The Diary of Alicia Keys." While this album like her debut album played like a cohesive body of work, there were several gems on this album that never saw the singles treatment that should have. With that in mind, take a second listen to Key's mid-tempo jam "Dragon Days" below, which to me is one of the most underrated albums on her album. Listen below and Enjoy!

Live Audio: "A Change Is Gonna Come" (Patti LaBelle)

At UNCF's 30th Anniversary "An Evening of Stars" Tribute, Patti LaBelle was the legend being honored and at the end of a wonderful tribute, Patti got up and belted out a phenomenal version of "A Change Is Gonna Come." While the TV version shows Patti accepting her award and then going into a spirited rendition of this classic, you never get to see and hear the entire song. Therefore, take a listen to this live audio that was captured the night of the original Tribute  back in 2008 that allows you to hear the entire version that Ms. LaBelle laid down that night. Listen below and Enjoy!
