Straight off of her Star Search win, Tiffany Evans signed to Columbia records and released her debut single a cover of Stacey Lattisaw's "Let Me Be Your Angel." Though her self-titled debut EP "Tiffany Evans," which was filled with covers of some classic hits was never released, "Let Me Be Your Angel" was a powerhouse performance from the then young songstress and now all grown up Tiffany is working on her forthcoming sophomore effort. Amazing Cover: "Spotlight" (Amber Riley)

Glee's resident powerhouse vocalist Amber Riley has tackled another song from Jennifer Hudson's repertoire and this time it is JHud's "Spotlight." While Riley doesn't belt it out as we've become accustom to hearing her on the show, she shows the versatility of her vocals  and offers a solid rendition of Jennifer's #1 hit "Spotlight." She does go off a bit towards the end which is nice, but check it out below for yourself and see what she has to offer.

Sometimes an understated video can have a huge impact and this is the case with Jessie J's latest official visual for her single "Who You Are." Lifted from her album of the same name, "Who You Are" is my favorite track from the effort and is also the most powerful song in my opinion. With that said, Jessie decided to create a simple video that would really allow the song and its lyrical content to take center stage. Anthony Hamilton has been hard at work on a forthcoming project and while the only detail available is that it is set for a 2012 release, several new joints have leaked from Hamilton's camp. While it's unclear if these are unreleased joints from previous projects, or new songs recorded for his new album, "Red Light" is a smooth acoustic jam that is a definite winner from Hamilton. Amazing Cover: "Yes Indeed" (Marsha Ambrosius)

A few years ago, Marsha Ambrosius recorded a sublime cover of the Lady T classic "Yes Indeed," which was off of Teena's "It Must Be Magic." Though Marsha has yet to release her take on "Yes Indeed," she played her recorded take back in December of 2010 shortly after the tragic passing of Teena Marie. This is one of my favorite covers to drop within the last 5 years hands down and it deserves a listen or two because Marsha really kills this Teena Joint while putting her own spin on the classic. Though Bobby V is already working on his followup to "Fly On The Wall," a video for his joint "Last Call For Love" has just hit the net.
