While promoting her latest album Piece by Piece, which was released at the end of February, Kelly Clarkson was in New York City making the promo rounds and she stopped by SiriusXM where she performed a sublime cover of Tracy Chapman's "Give Me One Reason."

Kelly's voice which is jus so bluesy and soulful on its own really shines bright on songs like this that allow her voice and minimal production to take centerstage, which in turn has me still wondering why we haven't received an acoustic soulful/bluesy/country album from her yet.

Sam Smith has truly had a breakout year in 2014 and I am sure when Grammy nominations are announced towards the end of the year, he will find himself with several including Best New Artist and Song of the Year to name a few.
