New Video: "Stand In The Way (of My Love)" (Timothy Bloom)

While Timothy Bloom's self-titled debut album Timothy Bloom was released independently after the rising crooner severed ties with Interscope Records, one of the standouts from the set in my opinion is his single "Stand In The Way (of My Love)," which just recently received the official music video treatment.

Illustrating a man’s journey to get the woman of his dreams, Herbie Hancock makes a cameo appearance in Timothy's video playing his dad and offers some sound advice on love. Peep the official music video for "Stand In The Way (of My Love)" below and Timothy recently released an official deluxe version of Timothy Bloom on iTunes with three new songs!

New Joint: "The Morning After" (Timothy Bloom)

After hitting a few delays on his highly anticipated self-titled album Timothy Bloom, the two-time-Grammy winning singer/songwriter/musician has released his album this past Tuesday and to help celebrate Timothy released the smooth soulful joint "The Morning After" to the net.

While it is unclear if "The Morning After" is the official follow-up to Timothy's lead single "Stand In The Way (of My Love)," it like the rest of Timothy Bloom, is a solid joint that warrants a few listens on this relaxing Sunday.

With that said, take a listen below to "The Morning After" below and Enjoy!

New Joint: "Stand In The Way (of My Love)" (Timothy Bloom)

A few days ago, Timothy Bloom released his new joint "Stand In The Way (of My Love)," which is lifted from his forthcoming debut solo album, which is slated for release next week on January 7th.

While it missed my radar a bit, I'm glad I discovered it on the first of the year as "Stand In The Way (of My Love)" is a great soulful mid-tempo song that has trappings of some traditional soul and R&B music which we all love, but also mixed with some contemporary sounds.

While a lot of soul and R&B music the past few years or so has been sonically mixing with Europop and other dance elements, it's refreshing to hear a traditional soulful song from the Two-time Grammy winner who is preparing to finally release his debut solo effort after perfecting it for the last two years.

Take a listen below to "Stand In The Way (of My Love)" and if you're like me, after hearing this, you will be looking out for Timothy's forthcoming album when it's released Tuesday, January 7th.

New Joint: "I Hate U" (Timothy Bloom)

I don't know what's been up with Timothy Bloom as of late, but the rising crooner has released two new joints in a day and the second effort from Bloom comes in the form of "I Hate U." While it is unclear if this is lifted from a forthcoming debut album, or if Bloom is even still signed with Interscope, I am just glad this musical talent is gracing us with his gift once again. With that said, Take a listen below to "I Hate U" and Enjoy!

New Joint: "Where Where Where" (Timothy Bloom)

Timothy Bloom was really set to blow in 2011 with his sensual joint "'Till The End Of Time," but since the early buzz and promo from Bloom in 2011/ early 2012, it appeared from my radar that he went ghost for a minute. Having seen him perform as the opening act for Ledisi's first headlining tour, Bloom is definitely gifted both musically and vocally and it is a pleasure to hear him return with such a solid joint "Where Where Where." With that said, take a listen below to "Where Where Where" and hopefully an official debut album from Bloom will materialize this year!

Live Video of the Day: "This May Be" (Timothy Bloom)

Timothy Bloom dropped "The Budding Rose EP" back in March of 2011 and since it dropped, the buzz for Bloom had been growing, especially since the visual for "'til The End Of Time" hit. With that said, Bloom then went onto tour with Ledisi during her then first headlining tour and one of the joints off of his EP and which he'd been performing was "This May Be." Sonically different from his buzz single,"This May Be" shows the diversity in Blooms work and really has my interests peaked as to what a full length album from him will sound like. Either way you feel, check out Bloom performing "This May Be" below as we all await more new music from the budding crooner!

I remember being at Club Nokia in Los Angeles back on November 10th, 2011 front row feeling the set that Bloom put together. The highlight of course was his duet with the talented V. Bozeman on their breakthrough/breakout duet "'Til the End of Time." With that said, peep their sublime performance of "'Til the End of Time" below and Enjoy!

Live Video of the Day: "'til The End Of Time" (Timothy Bloom feat. V. Bozeman)

I was remarking to my friend the other day about "what happened to Timothy Bloom?" Bloom bursted onto the scene in 2011 and nab a spot on Ledisi's "Pieces Of Me" Tour last fall as her opening act and since then it seems as though the hailed crooner has been mia. With that said Timothy Bloom took the the Essence Music Festival last year for his first time and performed a stunning set that featured his breakout single "'til The End Of Time," which is off of his "The Budding Rose EP." Featuring the talented V. Bozeman, Timothy Bloom and the talented songstress crooned their way through a spot on rendition of their joint "'til The End Of Time." Check it out in its two part format below and make sure you go out and support Bloom by getting a copy of "The Budding Rose EP" while we await more new music from Bloom.

Live Clip: "Possibilites" (Timothy Bloom)

Roughly two months ago, Timothy Bloom dropped the official visual for his joint "Possibilities." While I haven't heard much form the singer/songwriter thus far in the new year, one can be certain he is busy crafting his debut album. With that said, watch a clip of Bloom belting out "Possibilities" from an appearance at the House of Blues in NOLA below and Enjoy!
