Mashup: "Know" (Stwo)

Was revisiting Stwo yesterday before I taught and rediscovered the musical brilliance that is his work. Entitled "Know," this mashup/creation features vocals from Brandy and Stwo's brilliant production that transforms B-rocka's familiar vocals into a totally new joint.

Lifting Brandy's vocals from her debut single "I Wanna Be Down," which was lifted from her self-titled debut album Brandy back in 1994, Stwo pitches her vocals brilliantly to transform them into the perfect vocals to fit his soulful instrumentation.

Mashup: "Confused" (Stwo)

Lifted as the third joint from Stwo's "Beyond EP," "Confused" is the perfect blend of a young 1990s Christina Aguilera pitched vocal and Stwo's soulful electric instrumentation. While Stwo released this joint back in 2013, I thought it would be nice to revisit this joint from the rising producer.

With that said, Stwo ripped Christina's vocals from her 1999 single "What A Girl Wants," which was lifted from her self-titled debut album Christina Aguilera as the second offering from the set. With his skillful ear, Stwo pitches and augments her vocals just right to fit is sick instrumentation and you can check it out below!

Remix: "Love (Stwo Remix)" (Keyshia Cole)

Discovered the work of DJ/producer Stwo back in 2013 and I've been jamming to a lot of his mixes and creations and one of the numerous sublime joints from Stwo has to be his take on Keyshia Cole's breakout hit "Love." Entitled "Love (Stwo Remix)," Stwo heightens the pitch of Keyshia Cole's original vocals and adds a dope instrumental to craft a refreshing take on "Love."

Pitching the vocal to fit with his beautifully haunting instrumentation, Stwo created a phenomenal mashup/ new joint entitled "Lovin U," that warrants further attention. Still discovering Stwo's brilliant mixes and the latest one that I've been bumping is his joint "Anna," which samples Janet Jackson's classic joint  "Love Will Never Do (Without You)," which was released as the seventh single from Jackson's Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 back in 1990.

Lifted from Stwo's "Beyond EP," "Anna" features Janet's vocals from "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" and throw pitching and distorting her vocals, Stwo creates something unique from the original Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis creation. Take a listen after the jump tp "Anna" and Enjoy!
